The combined SLTs of Cotswold and Billingsville met tonight to discuss the naming process for an overarching name to unify our two campuses next year. A team of both Billingsville and Cotswold representatives has been working diligently with CannonCassidy Branding (pro bono- Thanks Purdy family!!!!) to create the pool of names that will be distributed. We will now collect both school and community feedback later this week- we look forward to hearing from you.
TaraLynn Sullivan, our area Superintendent informed the combined SLTs that Transportation has considered our feedback and has proposed a bell schedule to accommodate our desire for an earlier bell and staggered start times. A 7:45a tardy bell and 2:45 dismissal for the Billingsville campus and an 8a tardy bell and 3p dismissal for Cotswold are under consideration.
Both schools will continue to have a thirty minute window for drop off, doors open at Billingsville at 7:15a and at 7:30a at Cotswold. The final decision will be announced prior to the magnet lottery opening Monday November 13.
