A special thanks to the PTA for funding some fun activities for our upper-level Spanish classes. The students have been enjoying a computer game much like “Wheel of Fortune.” It has been a great way for them to review the alphabet in Spanish and to practice verb conjugation and vocabulary from their sports unit.
The fifth-graders are starting posters (purchased by the PTA) that look like a mock Facebook page. It’s a great way for them to practice talking about themselves in Spanish. Look for their work on the bulletin board outside of the gym around mid-May.
Again, muchas gracias to the PTA for making Spanish learning a whole lot of fun!
